The best Instant Pot Beef Stroganoff! Your favorite easy dinner just got even easier thanks to my favorite kitchen appliance! This meal is hearty, quick, and simple to make! It's one of those meals that is always in the dinner rotation at my house! Make it with me!




For this recipe, you can use a couple different options of meat! You can use ground beef, ground turkey, or ground chicken! You can also use thinly sliced beef sirloin, which is my favorite! I buy a case of Philly's Best Beef Steaks at Costco in the freezer section and they are awesome! You get 40, 4 ounce patties that are portioned and thinly sliced. I've said it before and I will say it again, I love my Instant Pot! It's my favorite kitchen appliance because it is so versatile! Instant Pot Beef Stroganoff 
Yields 6-8 servings

2 tablespoons butter
1/2 white onion, chopped
2 pounds beef sirloin, ground beef, or ground turkey
1 pound sliced mushrooms
2 cups beef broth
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup sour cream

Set the Instant Pot to sauté, and add the butter and onion. Sauté the onions until they are cooked down.

Add the meat to the pot and cook until browned. (Rinse meat if needed and return to Pot).

Stir in the mushrooms.

Next, add the beef broth, salt, dried basil, cayenne pepper, and black pepper.

Turn the Instant Pot to off, put the lid on the pot and set the valve to seal. Manually set the timer for 10 minutes. The Instant Pot will take 10 minutes to come to pressure before the timer starts to count down. When the time runs out and the chime sounds, quick release the remaining pressure.

Remove the lid and stir in the milk and sour cream. Serve hot over egg noodles, rice, or cauliflower rice. I often serve stroganoff with a side or peas or broccoli.
