MW3 was released in November 2011 and sold 6.5 million copies within the first 24 hours. Since its release, the game has remained incredibly popular and has sold over 26.5 million copies.

COD: Black Ops was the seventh installment of the COD series. It was the first that was set in the Cold War and is connected to COD: World at War. This new installment was very popular with COD fans worldwide.

COD: Black Ops II was the much-anticipated sequel to the popular COD: Black Ops. The gameplay takes place after the first game and also features a future component that takes place in 2025. It was the first COD to feature future warfare technology.
The game grossed just over $500 million within a day of being released. Since then the game has sold over 24.2 million copies, leading it to be in the top five-best selling PS3 games.

GT5 is the fifth generation of the Gran Turismo racing games. The game features a damage model and weather changes unlike previous versions. The game’s physics were also updated in this version.
Released in late 2010, the game sold over 10 million copies total. It remains one of the most popular PlayStation 3 games of all time.

Battlefield 3 is the eleventh installment of the Battlefield series and the sequel to Battlefield 2. The game picks up where Battlefield 2 left off and follows the stories of Sergeant Henry Blackburn and Dimitri Mayakovsky.
It was released in late October 2011, and sold 5 million copies within the first week of release. After a month, the game had sold over 8 million copies, making it one of the best selling and fastest selling video games ever.
10. FIFA Soccer 12
As the 19th game is the FIFA series, FIFA Soccer 12 is the second bestselling PS3 sports game, only eclipsed by FIFA 13. It was released in September 2011 and grew in popularity since then.
The game quickly sold over 3.2 million copies within the first week of sales. These sales surpass the sales of most other sports games.
