Looking for an easy, light lunch to make during the week! Look no further! These Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps are my favorite quick & healthy lunch! Made with canned chicken, olive oil mayo, grapes, cucumbers, carrots and romaine lettuce. These wraps are super low carb and totally delicious! Make it with me. FDA Announces Approval For Implanted Balloon Device to Help Combat Obesity

Of course, the approval has now left many scratching their heads, wondering exactly how it works. The device—called the ReShape Integrated Dual Balloon System—and it consists of two connected balloons that are filled with saline. The balloons basically just occupy space in the stomach to, hopefully, make the patient feel fuller sooner in their meals so they do not eat as much. However, the device can only be used for six months at a time and is currently not advised as an alternative to lap-band procedure. Well, Lenox Hill Hospital chief of obesity surgery, Dr. Mitchell Roslin, describes, “It’s going to be effective for short-term weight-loss but there is still an overwhelming question whether these devices provide any long-term benefit for obesity.” He goes on to say, “I don’t think it’s going to be part of the med...

A paleo salad that is great tasting, beautifully colored, balanced in nutrition, and low in calories. The ingredients are reduced to a minimum to achieve a superior flavor. Ingredients 1 tablespoon sugar 2 tablespoons fish sauce 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (of half a lime) 3 cloves garlic, grated 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger 1 fresh chili pepper, thin sliced (*see footnote 1) 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 280 grams (10 ounces) pre-sliced sirloin steak (*see footnote 2) 4 cups baby spinach leaves, chopped (optional) 1/4 red onion, thin sliced (optional) 1 small cucumber, sliced 200 grams (1 and 1/2 cup) seedless red grapes, halved 1/2 cup chopped cilantro Instructions Combine sugar and 1 tablespoon of water in a small bowl. Heat in microwave until warm, 10 to 15 seconds. Mix well until the sugar is fully dissolved. Combine fish sauce, lime juice, garlic, ginger, and chili pepper in a small bowl and mix well.
