Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps

Image
Looking for an easy, light lunch to make during the week! Look no further! These Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps are my favorite quick & healthy lunch! Made with canned chicken, olive oil mayo, grapes, cucumbers, carrots and romaine lettuce. These wraps are super low carb and totally delicious! Make it with me. Growing up (and even still today) I lived on Chicken Salad! It was my very favorite flavor of sandwich! I always took them in my sack lunch to school. I was raised on canned chicken, so I've never looked at it as weird. I know some people are timid when it comes to canned chicken but you shouldn't be!  It's a great, easy source of protein! I have to dedicate this recipe to my little cousin Oakley. She is 7 and she has so much personality. She catches on very quick and is very aware of the world around her. One day, I asked her what she wanted for lunch. She told me that she doesn't eat Carbs. I had to laugh because I'm sure she's heard ...

Top 10 Densely Populated Nations

Most of us are fortunate enough to live in countries with a lot of wide open space and a few friendly neighbours. But there are some countries that are very densely populated. This is a list of the ten most densely populated nations in the world. 1. Monaco Monaco is the world’s most densely populated country and second-smallest independent nation; with a population of just 32,410 and an area of 1.96 square kilometers (485 acres), Monaco is the world’s smallest French-speaking sovereignty. 2. Singapore Singapore is a highly populated island nation located on the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. A popular destination for both tourism and business, Singapore is also one of the richest countries in the world because of its highly developed economy. Top 10 Self Defense Techniques

Image
So, you have found yourself in one of the worst situations imaginable, a street fight. Whether you’re being mugged, or have just said the wrong thing to a tough guy, you need to know what to do to get out of the situation. This is a list of the top 10 self defense techniques. 10. This is not a movie Unless you are in a movie, are Bruce Lee, or have Ring / Cage experience, you shouldn’t try to do anything too amazing, and you should not stop hitting your opponent until your sure he is incapacitated. 9. Your objective is not to win If you hurt your opponent unnecessarily, you can find yourself in court. Also if you stun your opponent somehow (for example, you knock the wind out of him) you don’t need to do anything more – just run. You will find that you are not hurt and you are not getting sued. That’s winning to me. 8. Know you limits If the person you are fighting has a weapon, just do what he wants. Getting stabbed, shot at, or beaten by five people is not worth the $10 in your walle...

Top 10 Greatest Professional Wrestlers of All Time

Image
Everyone knows that professional wrestling is staged. The matches are first scripted then rehearsed and the outcomes are pre-determined. Nevertheless pro wrestlers have to deal with enormous physical punishment, real injuries and a grueling travel schedule. Fame comes at a high cost, here are the best to have ever achieved it: 10 Buddy Rogers Major Titles Held: 2 Rogers became extremely popular in the 1950s and 1960s. A very flamboyant competitor; he combined: attitude, an outstanding physique, and a signature finishing move to become the first truly “complete” wrestler. Although he could not surpass the two top wrestlers of his era (Thesz and Sammartino), he helped elevate them and many others by playing the villain character so successfully. Bottom line: No Buddy Rogers, No Ric Flair. No Ric Flair no Sting. No Sting, no … etc. 9 The Rock Major Titles Held: 9 If God were to create a wrestler, he would create The Rock. Blessed with all the natural attributes and charisma possible, Dway...

Top 10 Unusual Hotels

Image
We’ve all seen, or stayed at, the typical “Holiday Inn” type of hotel. A vacation should be an experience that, from start to finish, is filled with fun, excitement and relaxation. Here’s a look at some unique hotel destinations that can seem like an adventure in themselves. 10- The Giraffe Manor Nairobi, Kenya The Giraffe Manor was built in 1932, by Sir David Duncan, and modeled after a Scottish hunting lodge. Located in Nairobi, with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Ngong Hills, it is located on 115 acres. The manor was opened, in 1984, as a hotel. The Rothschild giraffes were moved onto the property after the loss of their natural habitat, and now they thrive there. Staying at this giraffe sanctuary will allow you the opportunity of having the giraffes come right to your window, where you can hand-feed them and take pictures. 9- The Library Hotel Manhattan, New York For those with a love...

10 Insane Martial Arts You’ve Never Heard Of

Image
We’ve all seen the Hollywood “wire-fu” and the Chuck Norris white-boy karate. Everybody knows about the Segal arm snap and the Van Damme ballerina kick. Even the popular modern mixed martial arts combat sports are dominated by a fairly rigid set of styles that often result in grueling grappling matches, methodically paced Brazilian jiujitsu, and run-of-the-mill hybrid kickboxing. But there are many other fighting styles. What about the moves too brutal for the ring and too ugly for the screen? What about the age-old deadly arts that have stood the test of time without being bastardized, glamorized, and regurgitated by seekers of profit and fame? Here are several examples of hardcore martial arts that you won’t see taught in strip malls to anyone who has a few extra bucks a month. 10- Bokator Bokator is a Cambodian martial art that dates back to the armies of Angkor, who dominated the battlefields of Indochina over 1700 years ago. “Bokator” translates as “poundin...

10 Places Around The World You Wouldn’t Want To Live

Image
When your neighbors party late into the night or a garbage truck wakes you up two hours before sunrise, you might curse your neighborhood. We’re not all fortunate enough to have rolling emerald lawns and central air conditioning, but most people reading this have access to the most basic of amenities: heat, running water, electricity, and Internet access. Unfortunately, there are many people throughout the world who are not so blessed—men, women, and children crammed into slums ruled by crime and ravaged by drugs and disease. 10- Cité-Soleil, Port au Prince Haiti On the outskirts of Port au Prince, Haiti is Cité-Soleil (“Sun City”), a foul slum ruled by gangs and sitting in a pool of its own squalor. Cite Soleil has no sewage system and is composed of hovels. Garbage and excrement sit in stagnant, mosquito-infested puddles. AIDS is prolific, and the life expectancy hovers in the low 50s. There is no police force, and for years, vicious drug lords and kidnappers c...
